Violetta is made in heavy, matte bridal crepe – a dense fabric with a weighty drape and only a low sheen in the light. The straight off-the-shoulder neckline sits just above the bust, and short sleeves of folded crepe rest on the upper arms, leaving the shoulders bare. The sleeves are detachable: they fasten with clear press studs, so you can also wear Violetta strapless.
The bodice is smooth and structured, with vertical corset seams that curve in towards the waist and finish in a curved line at the hip. Just below, an asymmetric drape runs across the hip in broad, diagonal folds. From there the skirt is smooth and fitted to around the knee, where it opens into a long train that spreads out like a fan.
At the back, the neckline forms a V between the sleeves. From the point of the V, a row of small crepe-covered buttons runs down to below the seat, where an inset godet opens into the train.
